Alittle bit of sunshine on a cloudy day

I truly believe that people come into our lives for a reason. That time might be short or we may find a friend for life. We may never figure out exactly what each encounter means at that exact time until it hits us in the face. During my early morning commutes I have ALOT of time to reflect and as much as I complain about how horrible it was that day (sorry Carson) there's always someone that did a nice gesture for me that day, whether it was hold the door, gave up their seat for me or just gave a friendly smile. In society today we focus on so much bad.. the news... the papers....people around us.... that we forget about the good most of the time. I'm trying to be better and teach myself to stop focusing on all the negative, so today I tried that and it's amazing how much better I felt by the time I got home. Tommorows another day.My bus buddy Diane would be so proud! She's left me and moved to Victoria, but I thank her for her words of wisdom every morning and for being my cup of coffee. Thanks for the flowers :)

T.G.I.F

Ahhhhhh, am I ever happy that the weekend is among us. Nothing makes me happier than for 4:30pm to hit and I walk out of that door, but then that smile soon starts to fade as my journey home now begins. I think that I should write a book on public transit and I'd be a good candidate as I do spend 15 hours a week amongest every germ out there known to man. But instead I think that every now and then I shall share with all of you a transit story, I'll consider it my therapy. On a lighter note, I was greeted when I got home finally by the ever so cute little Haley Bum. Or as you Williams Lakers refer to as the spawn of satan. I've enclosed a picture of her in case you all have forgotten what she may look like, but be kind with your comments as she's a little self conscious about her "junk in the trunk" that she's put on.

Once Upon A Time.....................

I've got to admit up until a few months ago I had no clue what a blog was, until my cousin gave me his blog address to which my response was, "A blog?... and that is what??", and his kind response was something along the lines of, " OH MY GOD, what planet are you from?". Thanks for bringing me up to date by the way Shane. So here's my first attempt to write out my thoughts, feelings, frustrations or just plain chatter. I too, just like Carson had mentioned, hope I keep up with it.... as those close to me know I can be abit of an procrastinator. I will give it my all though. I must say that moving out to White Rock has got to be one of the best things Carson and I have done. It's beautiful, extremely friendly, and has that nice small town feel that us two country bunkins are used too. Also it's the first time since we moved away from the puddle that I can truly say that I feel at home. So on that note I'm signing off on this blog entry and leaving you with a picture of the beautiful place we now call home.
