Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring

We had a fantastic weekend, the weather was amazing, so we took full advantage of it. Saturday morning we headed out to Mud Bay Park which is a Raptor & Shoreline Bird Sanctuary, there's trails for you to walk along the ocean in hopes of seeing some....... yes you guessed it... birds. But it was an adventure just getting there cause we've seen it tons of times from the highway but couldn't figure out how on earth to get there, so after getting frustrated with all our wrong turns we gave in and looked at the mapbook. And finally we arrived........ we didn't see any birds on our walk, just a huge crane soaking in some of the sunshine. But it was a great walk, we'll definitely go back probably with our bikes next time. I'm attaching some pictures to show you that yes we do get snow here too and the flower picture is of a couple days later once the snow melted. Bizarre!
